Lynton and Lynmouth
Lynton and Lynmouth are small Villages on the beautiful North Devon coast, famously connected by the funicular railway.
Situated in the heart of the Exmoor countryside we are often visited by deer, pheasants, sheep and cows, along with our very loveable resident Bulldog Buxton who likes to greet all of our guests.
Valley of the Rocks, Watersmeet, Waterfalls and Woody Bay
Within the local area we are lucky to have some of the most stunning scenery in England.
Don’t miss out on visiting the Valley of the Rocks, Watersmeet, waterfalls at Woody Bay or just take a drive across the moors to see the wild Exmoor Ponies.
Barnstaple is our nearest town 18 miles away with plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping opportunities.
Ilfracombe, also 18 miles away is famous for being the home of artist Damien Hurst. In the summer this town is busy with tourists taking daily boat trips showing you the rugged coastline from a different angle. Why not visit the aquarium, take a fishing trip or catch a boat over to the beautiful Lundy Island to visit the seals that reside there.
Exmoor Zoo is just a short drive away, as is Coombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, or a slightly further drive will take you to the Milky way and the Big Sheep, great places to take children to help feed and pet the farm animals.
We really are spoilt for choice of fun things to do and places to see.
